Higher efficiency and work culture of the Brother SDX1000 cutting plotter

The new design has allowed for an increase in the maximum thickness of cut materials by as much as 50% - the SDX1000 can easily cut felt elements up to 3 mm thick, which will be appreciated especially by people working with embroidery applications.

The optimized interior of the device has significantly reduced the noise level, thanks to which the SDX1000 works quietly and smoothly, without losing either speed or cutting precision. This is especially important for people working at home - e.g. at night or with small children.

Functions that make work easier

Among the new solutions is the half-cut function, which allows you to precisely cut only the top layer of flex or flock film, leaving the bottom layer intact - which significantly facilitates further processing of the material.

In addition, the SDX1000 enables cutting from a roll without the need for a cutting mat – for materials up to 178 cm long and 30 cm wide. A feeder for cutting from a roll is available as an optional accessory.

Note: cutting without a mat is only possible for materials with the appropriate stiffness – soft foils still require a mat.

The modernized scanner with a resolution of 600 dpi (previously 300 dpi) allows for more precise reproduction of even the smallest elements and lines – making it an indispensable tool for digitizing projects.
